Petroleum Firefly Quartz 11.89g Specimen - UV Reactive

Petroleum Quartz, or Firefly Quartz, is clear quartz that has petroleum inclusions. These inclusions give the Firefly Quartz a gorgeous glow under UV Blacklight. 

This piece is reactive to blacklight, as shown, primarily in the largest point, but there is also spots of glow in the lower points. The first photo here was taken in darkness, using only a blacklight. The second photo was taken under normal light conditions.

This piece does stand on it's own as shown, but is not super stable, and would benefit from a bit of museum wax to help it remain upright on display.
