Petroleum Firefly Quartz 17.60g Specimen - Highly UV Reactive

Petroleum Quartz, or Firefly Quartz, is clear quartz that has petroleum inclusions. These inclusions give the Firefly Quartz a gorgeous glow under UV Blacklight. 

This piece is highly reactive to blacklight, as shown. The first photo here was taken in darkness, using only a blacklight. The second photo was taken under normal light conditions.

This piece does not stand on it's own in this position, but can easily displayed upright with the use of a small amount of museum wax.
